THE STORY

What is The Story ? It is a book of selections from the Bible arranged chronologically so that it reads like a novel.

Who might read The Story ? The entire family! That’s the beauty of the book - there are versions for adults, youth and even children.

Where do I go for The Story? You have multiple opportunities to get involved, but the first thing you will need is the book. You can order the book by emailing pam(at)trinityashland.org

I have my book, now what?

There are multiple ways to experience The Story.

  • Participate in worship; each week the pastors will be preaching on selected verses from the scheduled reading.  Sermons will be available on WNCO via radio or computer and online at www.trinityashland.org
  • Join a Sunday School class.  All of the adult and youth Sunday School classes will be reading and discussing The Story so it is a great opportunity to find your place in a Sunday School class.
  • Join a small group. We have two groups that meet on weeknights, for those who can't make it to Sunday School, but want to meet with a group to discuss THE STORY.  Katie Smeltzer is leading a Wednesday night group in the Main Lounge of the Church Home @ 6:15 and on Thursday nights, Denny Steele is facilitating a group at 6:30, in Room A.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!!! We have links on our website to daily devotions for adults and families so you can “kick it up a notch” by using the resources available for your devotion time.  While you are on the website, check out the link to Pastor Jeff’s new blog, www.pastorjeffmessner@blogspot.com/. He will be posting his thoughts on the readings each week and will also be able to answer questions you might have.
