At Trinity, we minister to people of all ages. We are mindful of the needs of our senior citizens and provide programs and opportunities for fellowship and service. 

Annual Senior Recognition

On August 8, we had a wonderful celebration to honor our Trinity Seniors. This special event could not have taken place without the servants’ hearts of Mike and Pam Bradley, who lovingly prepared the meal as their ministry to Trinity’s seniors. We also appreciate our wonderful youth, headed up by Stacey Prichard, who served the meal and gave such special attention to the attendees. And a special thank you goes to Sally Carr and her clean-up crew. Last but not least, we want to thank Ron Marenchin and Mark Koehler for putting together a wonderful program. It was very informative as well as entertaining.

A great time was had by all!

Luther Club, a gathering of primarily senior citizens, meets the first Thursday of each month. The meeting begins at noon and consists of dinner and a program. (See below for details of our next luncheon.)

 Trinity Travelers is an opportunity for folks to visit various areas around our state and beyond. Four or five trips are planned during the year. A chartered bus is our usual mode of transportation. (See below for details of our next trip.)

Trinity Travelers will begin the new year with a trip to the Villa Milano in Columbus on Wednesday, March 17. The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra will play the sounds of American Music with hits such as “In the Mood,” “Star Dust,” “So Rare,” and many more. Soloist Nancy Knorr, former lead singer with “The Pied Pipers,” will bring her incredible talent to the show. A tribute to Tommy Dorsey and his music will also be included.The cost is $55.00 per person which includes transportation, lunch and show. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board outside rooms A & B. PAYMENT is due in the church office when you sign up. DEADLINE is Monday, March 1. Come, join the travelers for their first excursion of the 2010 season.

Calling all Luther-Club Members…Spring is near! It’s time to gather once more this coming Thursday, March 4, at noon in the Trinity Room. We have one of our favorite programs of the year. The “Drop of A Hat Players” from Ashland University will be here to present their marvelous musical theater talents to us. This program is right up there with our annual Christmas program. As always, our ladies will have a delectable meal planned for us which will include: chicken cashew casserole, applesauce, roll & dessert. Anyone who is generally of retirement age and would like to share in some good food and fellowship is welcome to join us! Hope to see you Thursday!
