Followers of Jesus (Disciples!) serving Ashland and beyond.
To rejoice in our upcoming 175th Anniversary, we are offering clothing and other items for sale beginning, March 1. These items will be printed or embroidered with our new Trinity logo and will range in price from $3 to $40. A pamphlet with pictures of the items, sizes, and colors, and the prices of the items will be available. From thermal cups and umbrellas to shirts and fleece jackets, we will be able to show our Trinity spirit. (See the brochure for items and prices.) What a blessing it is to be a part of a congregation that has worshiped together for 175 years! Order forms for clothing are due by Monday, March 17. Forms may be copied from the website and sent with payment to Trinity, 508 Center St. Checks should be made out to Trinity Lutheran Church. Hot and cold tumblers, umbrellas, and tote bags will be available for immediate purchase beginning March 1.
On Saturday, March 15, we'll learn all about OWLS! We will meet in the front church parking lot at 12:30 pm & leave by 12:45 to caravan just a few miles together out to the Fire Company Nature Center (near where Rt. 511 & Rt. 42 intersect). At this event, led by the Ash. Co. Parks, we'll get to dissect an owl pellet & take a short hike to look for owls. This event is great for young families. Trinity TST member, Jim McMillen, will lead you out there. Or meet at the Nature Center by 1 pm. Check our TST page for more events.
You will have two opportunities to hear the Ethiopia Medical Mission Team report on their experience. They will be in Luther Hall during the 9:30 am Sunday School hour on Sunday, March 16. The second opportunity is on Wednesday night, March 19, at 6:15, in the Main Lounge of the Church Home. Kenny and Nancy Oberholtzer will also report on the congregation we are sponsoring in Kimissee, Ethiopia. Donít miss these opportunities to see where and how our donations are being used to glorify God far away.
