Followers of Jesus (Disciples!) serving Ashland and beyond.
The logo we had for the past decades (with the front of the church and the beautiful maple tree) no longer works. The new building addition makes the picture out of date and the tree is gone. (Our grounds people had prolonged its life by doing deep pruning but it was on its last legs.)
A group of Trinity's artists came up with a design. Staff members were consulted. Then, it was presented to Council. Outsiders will say, "What an interesting design." Insiders, folks familiar with Trinity, will immediately say, "Those are the arches and the cross in our Sanctuary."
We’ll use the line, "Serving God since 1839" through our anniversary year, and then we'll remove that line.....until our 200th anniversary year!
Our annual Women’s Christmas Brunch, The Wonders of Christmas, is Saturday, December 7, 9:00 - 11:30 a.m., in Jack’s Place The cost is $12.00 per person. If you sign up for a table (10 Ladies) the cost is only $10.00 per person. Ladies, gather your friends and sign up now for a relaxing morning before the real holiday rush begins! For our program, we are delighted to have a musical gift from our own Trinity Men’s Chorus, under the direction of Pastor Bob. In addition to this wonderful program, we will allow time for you to browse all the wonderfully decorated tables, provided by our talented Trinity ladies. We will have a silent auction of the items on some of our tables, donated by local businesses. The proceeds will go toward our service project this year, which is the Kylie Kandel Fund. Monetary donations will also be collected at the brunch.
You are invited to our 29th annual Christmas Musical, A Christmas Suite, by David Clydesdale, presented by the Trinity Choir and Orchestra, as part of the worship services on Saturday, December 14 - 6:30 pm, and Sunday, December 15 - 8:30 & 10:45 am, in the Worship Center at Jack’s Place. Each service will last a little longer than an hour. Child care is available for children age five and under, and the building is handicapped accessible. We will have parking lot attendants on duty. Additional parking is available at: The Good Shepherd, the Elks Lodge, and the Ashland County Historical Society. You may listen to the 10:30 service live on WNCO-AM 1340 or ONLINE.
